Title: Graphic Designer / Production Coordinator

Location: Houston (Heights) Onsite Daily

Type: Direct Hire

Pay: 70-78k


Our exclusive client is a globally known medical manufacturing company in an industry that is exploding and expected to double by the year 2030. As a Graphic Designer & Production Coordinator you will support the Senior Creative Manager in executing package design, production and marketing asset workflows. This role is responsible for assisting in packaging updates, vendor coordination, quality control, managing timelines, task tracking, and approvals across the Asana workspace. An ideal candidate will be a strong designer in print, digital, and packaging and work cross functionally across the organization. An operational and organized mindset is critical to success in this role, as well as being a strong design specialist.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in updating packaging designs to reflect regulatory symbols and compliance requirements in tandem with the QA department
  • Support the design of new packaging and product development initiatives, including prototyping under senior guidance
  • Help with revisions, formating of instructions for use across many languages and coordinating with translation vendors
  • Create visual packaging assets and product renderings
  • Help inspect incoming materials to verify color accuracy, content, and quality
  • Support assessments of packaging compatibility with in-house manufacturing and kitting processes
  • Help maintain and update RMS database for package components
  • Track and coordinate artwork approvals across departments
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders for labels and other marketing assets
  • Assist in drafting and organizing product sheets, SOPs, and other technical documents
  • Compile, label, and submit invoices to accounting
  • Help to gather vendor quotes and research vendors
  • Act as a central point of communication for packaging for Marketing, Product Management, QA, Manufacturing, Fulfillment, Purchasing, Accounting and external clients
  • Help Senior Creative in maintaining task boards and timelines, track progress and completion of marketing projects

Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of professional design experience
  • Experience in package design, print production, marketing operations and digital assets
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or similar
  • Experience with Mac OS, Workspace (Docs/Sheets), Dropbox/Box,
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
