JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Virginia medical license and DEA (must be in hand)
  • Board: BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, IM, or FP with ER experience (must be certified within 7 years of residency)
  • DEA: Active DEA Certification
  • Certifications: ATLS required (if not EM Boarded), ACLS required if not EM Boarded
  • Experience: ER experience required
  • Other Qualifications: Clean file submissions only; no moonlighting residents

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide emergency medical care for a diverse patient population
  • Work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Perform admissions, consults, and emergency stabilization procedures
  • Collaborate with general surgery and specialty teams
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital standards
