Position Type: Full Time Nurse Practitioner Cardiothoracic Surgery
Overview
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced clinical care in a cardiothoracic surgery practice setting . This role involves ICU management, surgical first-assisting, outpatient clinic coverage, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-first care.
Practice HighlightsProvide advanced clinical care for cardiothoracic surgery patients.
Assist in cardiac surgeries, including endoscopic vein harvesting and first-assisting when needed .
Manage ICU and cardiovascular surgical patients, including rounding and evaluations in CVICU, floor, and clinic .
Participate in two full-day clinics weekly and see additional patients as needed.
Rotate through operating room coverage Monday Friday .
Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform bedside procedures appropriate to patient population.
Order and interpret labs, diagnostics, and prescriptions in compliance with regulations.
Maintain continuing education and provide thorough, timely documentation.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Master s in Nursing) REQUIRED
Certification by ANCC or AANPCB REQUIRED
Minimum 3+ years of cardiac/cardiovascular surgery experience with ICU management OR experience with vein harvesting and first assisting REQUIRED
DEA license with full prescriptive authority REQUIRED
Unrestricted medical staff membership and privileges REQUIRED
BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) REQUIRED
Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid reimbursable services REQUIRED
No sanctions/exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA REQUIRED
Not accepting Locums or Locum-to-Perm providers
Not visa eligible
Full-time, Monday Friday schedule.
Mix of ICU management, OR coverage, and outpatient clinics.

Salary: $100,588 $143,769 annually (based on experience).
