Executive Assistant
This position provides high-level, diversified executive support to assist and/or relieve the respective senior executive of complex details. Responsible for providing a variety of secretarial and executive support duties and for ensuring the efficient organization and operation for the senior executive. Works independently to perform daily office activities and procedures (office supplies/services, budget monitoring and control, record-keeping systems, incoming correspondence, etc.) to ensure a smooth office atmosphere. Individual must be a highly trusted partner responsible for exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. Essential Functions:
Provides confidential and non-routine executive support to the senior executive Collects information, researches issues, and analyzes data and prepares reports Makes and implements routine decisions for the senior executive within defined and established limits Maintains senior executive's schedule and calendar Arranges meetings, appointments, and travel; controls calendar by proactively managing executives' schedules Screens and prioritizes requests for executive's time Takes meeting minutes at executive staff meetings and independently follows up on assigned action items Coordinates complex and often sensitive activities among various parties; maintains total confidentiality Manages telephone, written correspondence, and personal contact with the executive by maintaining current awareness of priorities and personal preferences Prioritizes items for personal review and response Reviews, extracts, and summarizes lengthy correspondence and documents Responds to mail and personal contacts on own initiative (within guidelines established by the senior executive). Initiates, prepares, and distributes a variety of internal correspondence Maintains records to ensure timely action or follow-up Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email Participates in the planning, scheduling, and conducting of off-site executive-level meetings Participates in the development, enhancement, and final editing of presentations Ensures the effective functioning of the office Establishes and maintains uniform procedures (correspondence, information flow) Authorizes expenses and invoices and manages executive accounts as directed. Assembles and completes expense reports and other administrative assignments Contributes to the organization's success by providing efficient, high-quality customer service to all internal and external constituents Participates in the development and implementation of secretarial standards, policies, and practices for Eversource Works collaboratively and develops strong working partnerships with other operating company presidents' executive assistants Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Demonstrates a record of high-performance standards and strong organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and oral and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) High School Diploma with advanced business school/secretarial training or equivalent Associate degree preferred Minimum of seven (7) years demonstrated executive secretarial experience or equivalent Certification in secretarial science preferred Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary Compensation and Benefits:

This position is eligible for a potential incentive.
