Shipping and Receiving Associate
Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate! This position is ONSITE based in Brooklyn Park. Shift: Monday-Friday What You Will Do: Prepare and process all domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL and other carriers and couriers. Determine appropriate carrier and method of shipment required to meet internal and external customer demands. Maintain internal databases including intranet and ERP system to ensure accurate shipping history. Work with internal customers to resolve customer service issues, including, but not limited to: shipping errors, order entry errors, late orders, packing slip/part count/PO discrepancies. Proactively communicate shipping issues to customer service for resolution. Support other departments (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service) with preparing and shipping tradeshow supplies, marketing materials, and samples by requested ship method. Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization. Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance. Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
