Job Description
Job Location: Hilo, Big Island Compensation:
$17.50/hour Employment Type:
Full Time or Part Time Work Schedule:
Monday-Sunday (Including Holidays) 8:30am-5pm
Key Responsibilities: Cashier
Operate the POS computer for all sales and return transactions. Bag all customer purchases upon completion of your sale. Wash and/or dry dishes/containers used throughout the day. Process in store sales orders for pick up/mailing into computer system. Stock Clerk
Replenish the retail store throughout the day as needed. Replenish packaging supplies for the sales floor and storage area. Maintain accurate physical counts of all inventories. Prepare opening and/or closing duties of the store. Maintain cleanliness of the stock and storage room areas. Continually stock merchandise in its proper stock rotation in a neat and rapid pace for the duration of work shift. Greeter/Coffee/CSR Greet customers with a smile and warm verbal greeting as customers enter the store. Provide a welcoming experience for our customers while explaining product information and offering them samples. Ensure that everyone is given a sample immediately upon entering the store followed by offering a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Must ask customer's if they have any food allergies when offering a sample. Assist customers with telephone orders for pick up and/or shipping. Processes pick up/mail orders into computer system. Process will call pick up orders. Follow procedures to assist customers requesting to see Administrative Staff.Provide individual samples to our customers throughout the day. Work Hours:
Must be available to start before and after normal store hours for opening and closing procedures. And must be able to work extended hours (evenings) during monthly and annual inventory and peak seasons. Store hours: Sunday thru Saturday including holidays: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. (subject to operational changes). Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Japanese (proficient in Japanese) Must be reliable & dependable. Ability to work efficiently and with a professional attitude. Requires frequent standing and walking. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to climb a stock room ladder.
