Anticipated Need (Soft Job Opening) Position Overview: Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) is anticipating the need for a qualified and compassionate
Physical Therapist (PT)
to support students across various school sites. This is a
soft job opening , and we are currently gathering interest and additional information. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to students with physical disabilities or mobility challenges across multiple school sites
Evaluate and assess students to develop and implement appropriate therapy plans
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers as part of the IEP team
Monitor progress and maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish
strongly preferred
Experience working in
California public schools
Prior
itinerant experience
across multiple campuses a plus
Valid California PT License required
Knowledge of IEP procedures and relevant education law/regulations
