Travel Shift 4x10 Days Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Transport and prepare patients for catheterization procedures. Scrub in for procedures: assist the physician with instruments, catheters, wires; maintain sterility. Circulate: support monitors, handle documentation, equip management. Respond to emergent codes and STEMI alerts. Assist with post-procedure patient care and recovery. Physical and Scheduling Considerations:
Heavy physical load: standing for long periods, lead apron wear, patient handling. Unpredictable hours: frequent on-call duties, possible extended shifts and overnight returns. Qualifications:
Preferred certifications: RCIS or licensure as RN, RT, RRT, or equivalent. Cross-training in EP may be expected in smaller settings. JPC 26285
