Job Title: Restaurant Server

Location: La Colline at Hillside Boutique Hotel, Castroville, TX

Job Description:

The Hillside Boutique Hotel is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant hotel environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of food and beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

- Engage with guests to provide a memorable experience, including recommending drinks and answering questions

- Handle cash and process payments accurately

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous restaurant server experience preferred

- Knowledge of mixology, wine and beverage preparation techniques

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management preferred. Experience:

Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred. Familiarity with property management systems is a plus. Knowledge/Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service. Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately. Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and reservation software. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.
