Mechanic page is loaded## Mechaniclocations: Manchester, NHtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR1921**Job Description:****Responsibilities:*** Diagnose and complete mechanical, electrical, and emissions repairs on agency vehicles with an emphasis on time and safety. Supervisor must approve all repairs.* Respond to breakdowns and road calls as needed.* Assist supervisor with information processing. Must be able to maintain and retrieve information from computer-based programs and record all work completed on appropriate work orders. Must be able to safely utilize all equipment necessary to complete required work. Must understand all principles of safe operation of all equipment at the work site.* Clean garage facility on a daily basis. Maintain shop tools and equipment.* Communicate with drivers to understand and resolve concerns.* Assist in maintaining inventory by reporting on stock levels and usage of parts, supplies and equipment. Must be able to order parts occasionally.
