Job Summary

The Data Analyst will perform analyses, development, and evaluation of data mining in the Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, and data management.

What You'll Do

• Gather and assess business information needs and prepare system requirements
• Analyze, develop, and evaluate data mining processes in the Snowflake cloud data warehouse
• Design data, database architecture, and manage data using Informatica PowerCenter, Intelligent Data Quality and Enterprise Data Catalog
• Use data analysis tools like Power BI and Tableau
• Review and validate data accuracy in the data warehouse
• Interact with users to gather reporting requirements
• Provide technical consulting and advise on data usage
• Prototype, build, and test solutions for Snowflake data population (replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, transformation)
• Perform enterprise data modeling
• Administer IDMC platform and Secure Agent Infrastructure
• Administer Snowflake Data Cloud platform
• Analyze transactional data stores and develop optimized data warehouse models
• Administer Redhat Linux applications (security patching, disk management, scripts)
• Develop and test Power BI and Cognos reports/dashboards
• Ensure metadata is collected and maintained
• Tune performance for both Informatica IDMC Cloud and Snowflake Data Cloud
• Assist with documentation of methods and practices

What You'll Need

Required

• 7+ years in IT using data management, BI tools, and data warehousing
• Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake
• Strong experience with Informatica IDMC tools (CDI, MI, CAI, etc.)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tasks
• Experience with PowerExchange and other IDMC connectors
• Experience with DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake
• Experience with IBM Mainframes (COBOL, JCL, DB2)
• Experience designing data models for Power BI and Cognos
• Experience with Informatica Data Quality
• Experience with IDMC Cloud Administration and Performance Tuning
• Experience with Snowflake Administration and Performance Tuning

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80 - $100 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
