JOB TITLE: Sustainability Data Analyst

LOCATION: Foster City, CA Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)

PAY RANGE: $64.00 - $74.46/hr

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of the annual Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory, ensuring compliance with relevant GHG Protocol standards and utilizing robust data collection and modeling methodologies.
• Perform data analysis to identify and prioritize GHG reduction initiatives.
• Lead the data-driven execution of key GHG reduction initiatives, tracking progress towards the Climate Pledge goal and GHG Reduction strategy through rigorous analytics.
• Provide data expertise and analytical support to cross-functional teams in the development and execution of sustainability programs.
• Design and optimize the sustainability information system and processes, focusing on efficient data collection, integration, and reporting.
• Collaborate with key suppliers to collect and analyze Scope 3 emissions data, supporting the pursuit of emission reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, environmental studies, or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on data analytics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 4-6 years of overall experience and 3+ years of experience in a sustainability-focused role, with demonstrated expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
• Technical abilities around organizing and analyzing data including strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience driving programs through data-driven insights and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage data to inform decisions.
• Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise, and problem-solve using analytical approaches.
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders, including data collection and analysis.
