Position Summary

We are actively seeking a Corporate Tax Accountant or Senior Accountant to join a collaborative and well-established tax team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-focused environment, is committed to accuracy and integrity, and wants to contribute to a practice that truly helps clients succeed and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations

• Provide tax planning strategies for a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients

• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and consistent service delivery

• Stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations and apply them effectively

• Collaborate with other departments (audit, accounting, advisory) to deliver well-rounded client support

• Assist with IRS and state tax notices, audits, and other correspondence as needed

• Support junior team members through guidance, review, and mentorship, depending on experience level

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

• CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred

• 2–6+ years of public accounting experience, preferably in tax

• Strong technical knowledge of tax code and accounting principles

• Experience with corporate and individual tax returns

• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with tax software and cloud-based accounting systems preferred
