Material Handler Opportunity
We at Kelly are seeking Material Handlers to work in Rio Rancho, NM. Shift 1 is 8am-5pm Monday Friday at $17.00 an hour. Shift 5 is 6:45am-7:15pm Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Wed at $17.00 an hour. Shift 6 is 6:45pm-7:15am Wed, Thurs, Fri and every other Sat at $17.50 an hour. What's a Typical Day as a Material Handler?
A typical day includes: Delivery of material into the factory automated stockers Picking up material from the factory, transporting it to and from, processing shipments of customer product to its destination Picking material to delivery to the factory for production Loading inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers Unloading inbound and outbound containers and sorting according to size of freight and destination Reading, decoding, and deciphering freight coding in order to expedite freight movement and tracing process Reconciling driver pick up and delivery manifests Labeling, weighing, and dimensionalizing freight Performing cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock Recording damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports Responsible for inventory, rotation and inspection of freight held in the warehouse Completing required documentation and other duties as needed Performing cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of warehouse Maintaining quality standards for warehouse storage and service including communication to internal and external customers Maintaining and ensuring a safe working environment Completing other duties or tasks as assigned Why You Should Apply to Be a Material Handler:
