Entry Level Aerospace Quality Inspector

As a Level One Quality Inspector, you will develop the ability to utilize predetermined methods, operations, setups, and specifications to conduct in-process and completed inspections of various products. Your role will include inspecting machined parts, mechanical assemblies, processed parts, and purchased standard hardware. You will also verify part identification and configurations, arrange inspection queues, and identify and segregate non-conforming products using basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing methods per ASME 14.5. You will be required to use common inspection measuring equipment and demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading, basic math, and PC skills, including Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems. Responsibilities
Perform in-process and completed inspections of products. Verify part identification and configurations. Arrange inspection queues to prioritize work. Identify and segregate non-conforming products. Utilize basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing methods. Use common inspection measuring tools such as surface plates, micrometers, and height gauges. Demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading and basic math. Use MRP or ERP systems after instruction. Build inspection tools called Mueller bars. Conduct all 1st article inspections. Essential Skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment. Quality inspection skills. Ability to perform first article inspections. Proficiency in using visual inspection tools, calipers, and micrometers. Understanding of ASME Y14.5 drawing interpretation. Knowledge of metrology techniques. Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
