Job Description
1st Shift: 6AM to 2PM
Responsibilities
- Responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair/replacement of the electrical components of stamping presses and related equipment.
- Assist facilities with electrical projects and support Maintenance Mechanics when needed.
Robotics training is preferred.
Applicants should have proficient knowledge in, but not limited to:
- DC Drives
- Fanuc and Comau robot programming and diagnostics
- Troubleshooting equipment using test equipment and schematics
- NEC Standards
- MIOSHA Standards
- Stamping Presses
- Ladder/relay logic
- 24 VDC PNP and NPN circuits
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' experience working in and/or servicing manufacturing environments as an Industrial Electrician.
- Understanding of PLC logic, ability to read and troubleshoot PLC functions, and knowledge of stamping presses and related equipment (conveyors, coil feeders, straighteners, etc.).
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willing to work in a union environment.
