Overview

CTS is one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of construction contract labor. We are expanding our field team and accepting applications for electricians in the Crawfordsville area. We offer steady year‑round work and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit‑breaker panels; install bus, busbar, electrical feeders, power systems, and/or switchgear.
• Connect electrical power to commercial and industrial equipment.
• Determine wiring layouts.
• Follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems.
• Install brackets and hangers; bend, thread, and install conduit.
• Install, replace, and repair electrical equipment.
• Pull and install wiring throughout structures.
• Test continuity of circuits with test equipment and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems.
• Perform all other electrician duties and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Qualifications

• Must have commercial electrical experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Ability to work independently and with others depending on scope of work.
• Effective communication with team and other field employees.
• Ability to perform general physical activities common to the electrical trade.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality work.
• Conceptualize concepts and visualize potential outcomes.
• Knowledgeable about technological developments.
• Great attitude and safety‑driven.
• Committed to being drug free.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
