About Kraken Ads: Kraken Ads is a digital marketing agency that helps brands grow through high-performing ad campaigns and creative strategy. We’re looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to support our team with ad creatives, social graphics, and occasional design projects. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants a flexible work environment.

Role Overview

You’ll primarily create graphics for paid ads (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) along with organic social content and occasional design tasks like PDFs, pitch decks, or other creative needs. We’ll provide creative briefs, but we’re looking for someone who can bring their own ideas, design with performance in mind, and move quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design static and animated ad creatives for Meta, Google, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Create organic social graphics (Instagram posts, LinkedIn graphics, etc.)
• Format PDFs, sales sheets, and one-off design deliverables as needed
• Ensure all creative aligns with brand guidelines and campaign strategy
• Deliver files optimized for different platforms and placements
• Collaborate with our team via Slack/Asana (or other project tools)
• Deliver projects within a 24-48hr turnaround

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma
• Strong eye for typography, layout, and digital-first design
• Bonus: Motion graphics or simple video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere, or Canva animations)
• Able to take direction, iterate quickly, and meet deadlines
• Portfolio with examples of ad creatives or social media graphics
