As a Material Handler, you'll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Berea, OH. Our Material Handler works independently and with limited direction to safely and efficiently pull, pack, transport and store materials throughout the facility. He/she performs incoming inspections; uses fork trucks and other moving equipment. Enters computerized inventory data and inspection results as needed. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Reads work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, or racks by hand or fork trucks and moving devices. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination, using hand-operated crane or hoist. Performs incoming material inspections. Enters specific transactions into computer software. Communicates professionally with internal and external customers and suppliers. Maintains safety standards. Other duties may be assigned. HS diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift experience. Basic math skills. Able to use Computer system. Valid drivers' license and clean driving record.
