As a Recycling Material Handler, you will play a vital role in inspecting and sorting recycled materials. Your friendly demeanor and exceptional service will also help create a positive experience for guests, making you a key contributor to both sustainability and hospitality! The Starting Rate: $15.89 The Day-To-Day: Sort recycled materials on all the equipment including bailers, bottle/plastic/metals recycler and conveyor line Separate cardboard and plastic from waste Inspect and sort materials into designated areas according to type, size, condition, color, or paper grade Sort various food sources in preparation for composting Pull contaminants out of paper and/or off the floor Clean recycling area with sweeping, trash removal and general cleaning Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs The Ideal Candidate
Knowledgeable of operating baler machine, bottle recycling machine and conveyor Ability to perform basic math calculations Must be able to work as a team and independently with little supervision Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment The Perks & Benefits
