What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of help desk technicians.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused team culture.
- Contribute to setting the IT strategy for the company and maintaining the IT roadmap.
- Technical Support
- Oversee help desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries and technical issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Google Workspace Administration
- Maintain Google Workspace for the organization.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to onboard new employees.
- Okta SSO Integration
- Manage Okta SSO integration with Google Workspace.
- Set up SAML-based SSO for seamless authentication.
- Automate user provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Security and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Monitor user access and permissions.
- Participate in security audits and risk assessments.
- Vendor Management
- Work with vendors, including Google and Okta, to resolve technical issues and optimize services.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
- Documentation and Training
- Maintain accurate documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on Google Workspace and Okta SSO.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications: Google Workspace Administrator, Okta Certified Administrator (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace administration and Okta SSO.
- Experience with MacOS/macOS devices and Apple Device Management (JAMF).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Slack and Zoom administration experience a plus.
