Receipt Inspector Level II Per Diem

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receipt Inspector Level II to join our team at the Crane Clean Energy Centerformerly known as Three Mile Island. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all materials received at the plant meet the highest quality standards required for nuclear operations. Competitive pay based on experience. Per diem provided for candidates residing outside the local area. Position Overview: As a Receipt Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, verifying compliance with engineering specifications, and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete. Your work will directly support the safety and efficiency of one of the largest clean energy projects in the country. Key Responsibilities: Conduct receipt inspections for all incoming materials. Review and interpret engineering requirements to assess material suitability. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records. Identify and reject non-compliant or substandard materials. Evaluate substitute materials for critical characteristics and compliance. Maintain Level II certification and adhere to all site procedures. Participate in audits and quality assurance assessments. Report and document deficiencies through the Corrective Action Process (CAP). Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Experience in construction, blueprint reading, and quality inspection. Proficiency with inspection tools and testing protocols. Strong clerical and documentation skills. Must hold or be able to obtain Receipt Inspector Level II certification within 60 days of hire. Preferred skills include familiarity with Work Control, Planning, and Maintenance functions. Prior experience in Quality Control or Receipt Inspection. Work Environment: On-site role at the Crane Clean Energy Center. 4x10 work schedule.
