First Shift Material Handler
Automation Personnel Services is looking for First Shift Material Handlers for a company based in Kennesaw, GA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for receiving, unloading, and storing materials, prepare outgoing shipments, and record data in a fast-paced, manufacturing setting. Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour with plenty of overtime opportunities! Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 3:15 pm Duties and Responsibilities
Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, and/or elevator. Opens containers utilizing hand tools as needed; counts and weighs materials and records information. Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task. Assists machine operators as needed by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist or overhead crane. Stacks and assembles materials. Banding pallets and assist with crate building. Performs other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications and Requirements
Forklift experience is required. Overhead crane certified, or the willingness to be certified. Previous material handler experience required. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Understand and practice safety policy and procedures. Drug screening, background check and 75lbs lifting assessments are required. Job Type
