The Material Handler I supports operations by unloading, sorting, verifying receipts and storing materials withing the 2-8C cold room or ambient temperature locations. The position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, assisting outbound pick and pack operations, and ensuring accurate inventory across the site. A Day in the Life
Receiving, sorting and stocking picking and overflow locations throughout the warehouse Assisting the outbound team with pick and pack operations Maintain accurate inventory through receipts, adjustments, and cycle counts Uncrating instruments received and preparing for distribution Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience
Preferred: Experience in a FDA regulated distribution/warehouse environment Required: Experience with forklifts, walkie stackers and pallet jacks Required: 1-2 years experience picking, packing, sorting and receiving high volume of materials Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other similar equipment Effective interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently and set priorities Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Able to handle chemicals, including hazardous materials Frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs with assistance Must be available to work overtime, including weekends to support department as necessary What We Offer
