Flex Inspector
This position involves verifying the quality of parts through visual inspection, dimensional verification, and electrical testing according to documented criteria. The role includes removing parts from sheets and packaging them for shipment. Responsibilities: Read and follow instructions on a traveler and other company documentation to complete required tasks accurately. Fill out company documentation correctly to record manufacturing lot information and measurements. Work under direct supervision, adhering to instructions and techniques to process parts correctly. Inspect parts using a microscope to ensure they meet company and customer inspection criteria. Remove parts from sheets using scissors or clippers, depending on the part. Use drop gauges and handheld micrometers to measure material thickness. Utilize various electrical test equipment to verify circuit continuity and isolation. Understand the different sections of a flex circuit and the fundamentals of circuit functions. Identify and recommend inspection improvement opportunities to reduce costs and expedite processing through the inspection department and plant.
