Maintenance Clerk Opportunity

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Clerk for a temp-to-hire position in Mapleton, IL. Pay $23.50/hour | 10 holidays and 80 hours of accrued PTO. Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. Summary:

The role involves utilizing organizational skills, regulatory knowledge, and SAP proficiency to manage maintenance, purchasing, and engineering documentation. The ideal candidate will contribute to safety initiatives, inventory control, and vendor management to support site operations effectively. Responsibilities: Create and issue maintenance labor and material purchase requisitions and orders. Manage purchase orders for production hard goods (excluding raw materials), ESH supplies, and PPE inventory. Work with vendors and procurement to establish outline agreements. Manage and review invoices for accuracy against original purchase order for maintenance and engineering and resolve any discrepancies with vendors and procurement. Receive stock items, label them with SAP material numbers, and maintain VMI (vendor-managed inventory). Perform inventory audits and adjust discrepancies. Record goods issued on work orders and input labor hours for company mechanics and contractors. Manage invoices to ensure alignment with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies. Scan, organize, and transfer engineering paper files into SiteDoc. Migrate digital engineering documents (work orders, inspection reports, manuals, etc.) to SharePoint as needed. Participate in EHSQ safety initiatives and serve as a forklift trainer across sites. Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and accounts payable to address outstanding invoices. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma 3 to 5 years of data entry or related experience SAP experience Advanced Excel experience, with successful completion and passing of an Excel skills test. Physical Requirements: Mobility and agility, with frequent stooping, bending, and stretching. Ability to work in non-office environments during weekends or holidays if needed. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, gloves, and hard hats. Work Conditions: Exposure to inside and outside environments with varying temperatures (below 32F or above 100F). Potential exposure to oils, cutting fluids, and other industrial materials.
