Second Shift (Afternoons) Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Warehouse, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights Location/Division Specific Information: Frederick, MD Shift Information: 2nd Shift/Afternoons Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm (overtime as needed, report before shift for 9 or 10 hour days as early as 10:30am) Pay/Compensation 19.50/hr + 10% shift differential = $21.45/hr compensation includes annual merit and bonus eligibility + PTO and other employee benefits How Will You Make an Impact?: This isn't your ordinary job. As a Material Handler, you will help deliver various types of products from life-saving personal protective equipment to everyday lab essentials. You will provide shipping, receiving, storage and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts and equipment. A Day in the Life:
Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements Sustain a high level of quality to ensure customers receive accurate product and in the time requested. Receive materials and/or finished goods daily. Verify the quality, type and number of materials received are accurate and appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list). Safely operate distribution equipment, as required. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience:
No experience required Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, turret trucks, dock stockers, etc.) Must be able to pass a required background check What We Offer
