Velosity Forest Lake is searching for a Material Handler to support our manufacturing facility in Forest Lake, MN on 3rd shift. This role will prepare and maintain the supply of raw material, packaging and component items for production. Shift: 3rd Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:30am The typical pay range for this role: $19.93-$29.89 per hour. This role is also eligible for our 5% quarterly bonus target. This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range. This is an on-site position supporting our Forest Lake location. Preferred High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States Minimum 1 experience in plastic injection molding preferred Knowledge of proper use of forklift, pallet jacks, scales and other shipping equipment; working knowledge of inventory control systems including bar code systems, working knowledge of all types of materials The ability to multitask, run several projects at the same time without losing the ability to complete them on time; communicate with other departments in a professional and respectful manner; basic computer skills; strong problem solving skills Essential Duties

Maintains accurate inventory levels and lot history trees by properly moving and electronically tracking materials per system requirements Mixes, batches, and/or blends material for production while working closely with set-up techs and/or process engineers Maintains material handling equipment and identifies equipment needing repair Designates material for production runs; allocates required raw materials, based upon BOM, using IQMS/WMS Returns material to stock after production is complete and assigns it a location in the warehouse Reconciles material usage at the end of a work order Communicates with Purchasing and Scheduling any shortages or discrepancies Cycle counts raw materials and packaging supplies Maintains and updates IQMS system for material per production run, transfers and back flushes the system Can perform all material handling with little or no supervision Recommends changes to improve productivity and/or quality Other duties as assigned by supervisor Physical & Mental Demands

Walking is required within the office/shop areas. Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements. Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to walk, sit and occasionally climb and balance. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move objects in a safe manner using proper equipment. Must have dexterity with hands. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within a timely manner; Ability to make decisions with limited information and supervision. Work Environment

This is a non-smoking, professional manufacturing facility with normal lighting, and climate control. This position requires the employee to work on a manufacturing floor where they may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
