Material Handler IPosition DetailsPay:$18 -$22 per hourLocation:Outdoor Greatroom, Lakeville, MN 1stShift Details: Monday- Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Core Hours)Lunch 11-11:30 pm (unpaid time)Must be flexible to stay until the work is done –could be until 6:30 PM but should have some notice if that’s the caseOT as needed, generally an extended shiftMaterial Handler Duties Include Preparing and shipping OGC’s industry-leading fire tables, burners and RTF fireplace products. Picking & pulling partsShipping small parcel packages using FedExPrepare ship lists utilizing M2KPrepare returned product to return to inventoryPalletizing products and optimizing pallet needsLoading freight into trailers Open cratesUnloading ocean containersReplenish inventory as neededUtilizing a variety of industrial material handling equipment ForkliftsScanners Shrink wrap machinesWork ExperienceForklift – previous stand up and sit down forklift certification required in a distribution center/warehouse settingScanners – ability to work with hand held scanners.Job RequirementsForklift experienceWork in various temperatures and climates – not a climate-controlled work areaLifting up to 50 lbs.Must practice safety awarenessWearing proper PPE & practicing safe work habits – steel toed shoes required starting 1stday of work
