Moffett Truck Driver / Laborer
Lingo Staffing is hiring a Moffett Truck Driver / Laborer in Orange, CT. Pay rate is $25/hour. We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Moffett Truck Driver/Laborer for a building supply company in Orange, CT. This position combines commercial driving with hands-on labor (loading, unloading, and operating a forklift). This position requires significant physical labor. Candidates must be in good physical shape and comfortable with heavy lifting, carrying materials like sheet rock, and working in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Operate Moffett truck (truck-mounted forklift) to deliver building materials to job sites Load and unload materials using Moffett forklift equipment Perform substantial manual labor, including carrying and moving sheet rock and other building materials Ensure safe and timely deliveries to residential and commercial construction sites Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Requirements: Valid CDL (Class A or B) Experience operating Moffett or similar truck-mounted forklift systems Excellent physical condition - ability to lift heavy materials and carry sheet rock for extended periods Willingness to perform manual labor as a significant portion of daily duties Strong work ethic and reliability Good communication skills and professional demeanor with customers Clean driving record
