Your role and responsibilities
This individual contributor role involves hands-on development with both functional and technical responsibilities.
The Marketing Analytics team focuses on transforming key business data into accessible data models and tools that accelerate insights for HashiCorp's marketing organization and leadership.
As a Data Analytics Manager, you will collaborate with Product Marketing, Product PMs, Revenue Marketing, Sales, Finance, and IT teams to develop data models supporting marketing use cases, ad hoc analyses, reports, and dashboards.
You will facilitate key stakeholders at HashiCorp to self-serve answers using customer and product telemetry data.
Responsibilities:
Own the creation and maintenance of structured data models, dashboards, and reports to enable data-driven decisions.
Build and maintain reverse ETL workflows to systems like Marketo for marketing campaigns.
Collaborate across teams to define and monitor key metrics related to adoption, pipeline, revenue, telemetry, and customer success.
Identify opportunities to make data more accessible and reduce time-to-insight.
Develop documentation and training materials for user enablement on models and dashboards.
This role can be performed remotely within the US.
Required technical and professional expertise
5+ years in analytics, data engineering, or related fields.
Proficiency in writing clean, scalable SQL.
Experience with data modeling tools like DBT and data warehouse systems such as Snowflake or Redshift.
Skill in creating dashboards with BI tools like Tableau, Sigma, or Looker.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred experience
2+ years developing analytics for sales, marketing, or go-to-market functions.
Knowledge of visualization best practices.
Understanding of data modeling and semantic layers.
