Engineer scalable pipelines with SQL, PySpark, Delta Live Tables, and Databricks Workflows Orchestrate workflows with Airflow or Databricks Jobs, with SLA-aware retries and alerting Model data using dimensional schemas, Unity Catalog, and Great Expectations Build Power BI dashboards, semantic models, paginated reports, and fine-grained security layers Migrate SSRS reports to Power BI - preserving all business logic and compliance constraints Optimize cost and performance - cache tuning, partitioning, capacity management Document everything - pipeline logic, DAX rules, RLS - stored in Git and versioned formats Collaborate across teams to translate product analytics into governed BI assets Mentor teammates by reviewing notebooks, dashboards, and platform standards Must-Have Skills
7+ years in analytics engineering; 3+ in Databricks/Spark environments Advanced SQL (window functions, joins), expert PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog Deep Power BI skills - DAX, RLS, paginated reports, semantic modeling Proven SSRS-to-Power BI migration experience (replicating RDL logic) Strong with Git, CI/CD, and public cloud (Azure/AWS) Clear communicator - able to bridge technical teams and business stakeholders Benefits
