As an operations analyst, youre passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experienced research analyst to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our analysis and application development team, you'll help solve complex analytical problems, assist with developing process improvement solutions, and create applications and tools to enhance productivity. You wont go at it alone you will help guide a team to develop study plans, conduct research, create models and tools, brief decision makers, and write reports. Responsibilities Use analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques using mathematical, statistical, engineering, and operational mathematics methods (e.g., linear programming, simulation, task automation). Develop technologies and concepts that advance efficiencies for IC and DoD customers. Lead or guide a team to develop study plans, conduct research, create models/tools, brief decision makers, and write reports. Collaborate to design and deliver process improvement solutions and applications/tools to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience analyzing management and operational problems using operations research techniques. 4+ years applying modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems. 4+ years conducting multiple objective decision analysis or cost-benefit analysis in research contexts. 4+ years experience with tools such as Python/R, Excel/VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi/CPLEX, ExtendSim, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSS. TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Bachelors degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Nice If You Have
Experience validating models and ensuring adequacy through verification/validation. Experience developing and delivering training materials for operations research techniques. Experience gathering data requirements from stakeholders and briefing results in written reports. Experience with machine learning and large language models to solve complex problems. Masters degree in a STEM field.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Compensation
Salary is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific factors, and organizational requirements. Projected compensation range:
$69,400.00
to
$158,000.00
(annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date. Work Model
