Headway Technologies . Location: Milpitas, California. Schedule: C shift - Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Employment type: Full-time. Compensation: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour + bonus target + benefits. Responsibilities
Reviews and completes ATS forms for equipment/tool repairs or cleaning Reviews and issues credits for material transfers, including tracking and issuing purchase requisitions and responding to inquiries from other teams or departments as to the status of orders Performs research and sources new or alternate suppliers for parts or equipment; recommends appropriate action Prepares and pulls PM kits for both scheduled and unscheduled tool/equipment maintenance Tracks, monitors, and receives parts and/or materials to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are maintained consistently Unpacks parts or materials and verifies them against work orders, purchase orders, invoices, return authorizations, or other documentation Performs cycle counts, transaction audits, and investigates and resolves material discrepancies Responds to inquiries from employees, managers, and other departments Loads and unloads materials, parts, or other inventory items using a forklift and/or pallet jack Overtime may be required contingent on business needs Adheres to all safety policies and procedures Performs other duties of a similar nature or level Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED Three years of experience working as a Material Handler or Production Control Specialist Knowledge of kitting, pulling, and staging parts Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of material handling, pulling or kitting parts, and maintaining parts inventories Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations Knowledge of shipping and receiving and the ability to receive and ship various types of materials, parts, and other inventory when required Able to track, monitor, and source parts or tools to maintain appropriate inventory Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, management, and vendors Able to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to exhibit tact and professionalism at all times Demonstrated ability to follow complex verbal or written instructions Demonstrated organizational and time management skills Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills Flexible and able to prioritize Working Conditions
The Material Handler works primarily in an indoor environment on a rotating schedule. May travel between buildings, pick up parts or inventory from local suppliers, and operate a forklift and/or pallet jack. May be required to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds. Other duties of a similar nature may be required.
