Job Summary
The
Material Handler
plays an essential role in supporting
manufacturing operations and inventory accuracy . This position is responsible for moving, storing, and tracking production materials, ensuring timely availability for production while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Accurately transfer production materials into and from designated storage areas. Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies. Receive incoming materials and document transactions in a timely manner. Support manufacturing operations with
timely material pulls . Maintain clean and organized storage areas to ensure
safe operations . Deliver FedEx and UPS packages throughout the facility. Interface with multiple teams including Planning, Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality. Participate in PIT training (forklift, pallet jacks) and operate equipment as required. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE. Support process improvement and quality standards through accurate recordkeeping.
Required Experience
Previous experience in
materials handling, inventory, or warehouse operations Ability to lift, move, and handle packages safely Attention to detail for documentation and reconciliation
Nice-to-Have Experience
Prior forklift or pallet jack experience (training provided if not certified) Background in
medical device or manufacturing environments
Required Skills
Inventory management and cycle counts Basic computer/data entry proficiency Adherence to safety standards and quality protocols
Preferred Skills
Collaboration with cross-functional teams Ability to adapt to overtime and workload shifts Strong organizational and communication skills
