Schedule: Full-Time; 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm, M-F); Flexible with schedule required during peak season as business needs arise. Location: Reno, NV 89521 Salary: $19.50/hr ($18.50 plus a $1.00 pay differential for 2nd shift) Summary: As a material handler, you have a passion for great service and ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders for our Barnes and Noble stores and .com customers. You take pride in assuring product is available to complete the order fulfillment process, taking care to minimize any quality issues. A material handler consistently meets or exceeds the daily production goals and is comfortable performing these duties in a warehouse environment and in accordance with our Core Values. Minimum/Preferred Requirements: Can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner at all times. Possess basic English written and verbal communication skills as well as mathematical skills. Is detailed and accurate. Prior warehouse experience is preferred. Job Responsibilities/Duties: Adhere to all safety protocols and foster a safe work environment. Palletize, put away and ship product in a timely and accurate manner. Work on the warehouse floor which includes repeated lifting, bending, and reaching up to 50 lbs. and ability to stand for long periods of time in any area as needed. Is able to rotate within all material handler functions including but not limited to loading and unloading, providing trays and case pack materials within the Packing Department and other duties as assigned.
