Driver- CDL (B) Job Summary
A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver ensures compliance with the company's safety standards, adheres to all regulations, and completes vehicle condition reports daily. Key responsibilities include performing inspections, safely operating the truck, interacting with customers, and maintaining the vehicle's operational readiness. Principal Responsibilities
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure proper working order. Safely operate the truck along designated routes and to disposal sites. Operate controls to lift and load refuse, operate compactors, and dispose of collected material. Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others. Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers. Monitor waste for unacceptable conditions. Clean areas around accidental waste spills, adhering to safety standards. Monitor vehicle condition to minimize downtime and clean the truck. Complete required route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports. Maintain adherence to productivity standards. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Participate in the company's ReSOP program. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Demonstrate good customer service skills. Exhibit good time management skills. Show good follow-through ability. Adhere to company policies and rules. Promote company safety standards. Maintain pride in work and strive to achieve goals. Minimum Requirements
