The Host/Hostess is the guest's first impression of the restaurant, with knowledge of menus, menu ingredients and guest preferences. Manalo Lounge Manalo Lounge meaning 'sweet water' in Hawaiian, celebrates Hawaii's diverse mix of cultures that have influenced the area's cuisine. Inspired by Oahu's natural resources - where the fresh water of the mountains harmoniously merges with the salt water of the ocean, thus creating a sweet water, the cuisine pays homage to the mix of cultures found here, as well as throughout Asia and across the greater Pacific. Akin to the saying, 'Ae Kai' - to bring together the land and sea to serve as a gathering place, Manalo Lounge serves as a welcoming intersection to gather with family and friends for dinner, in a contemporary, yet casual setting at the water's edge. Responsibilities

The ability to offer guests of the restaurant an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience conforming to the Four Seasons service standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness The ability to anticipate and service guests' requirements before requests are made or necessary of the restaurant menus and ability to answer questions during the arrival and reservation making process about the food and chef. The ability to use the OpenTable reservations system, taking reservations, walk-in's, confirming guest reservations, updating guest profile details, managing floor seating and table status throughout the guest dining experience. Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Strong guest experience communication skills required. Strong systems knowledge using OpenTable and telephone preferred but not required. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required. Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
