We are seeking a dedicated and reliable car enthusiast to join our team as a Fleet Service Attendant. This role involves a combination of vehicle inspections, light maintenance tasks, and management of the vehicle fleet to ensure optimal operation and condition. This role operates out of a secure, non-dealership facility. Automotive certification or experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Check-In & Tracking:
Regularly check in vehicles and track key assignments to ensure proper inventory management. Charging Electric Vehicles:
Ensure that electric vehicles are charged as needed and ready for use, maintaining charging schedules. Software Updates:
Verify that all vehicles are up-to-date with the latest software updates, ensuring functionality and compliance with client specifications. General Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform light maintenance tasks, including but not limited to checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness. Escalate any significant maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Fleet Monitoring:
Maintain records of vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and other relevant data to ensure proper fleet management. Client SOW Compliance:
Adhere strictly to the client's provided Scope of Work (SOW), ensuring all processes and maintenance tasks are performed accurately and on time.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Strong attention to detail with an ability to track and monitor key tasks. Reliable and punctual with the ability to manage time effectively. Basic understanding or interest in vehicle service and maintenance is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills for reporting on vehicle conditions and maintenance tasks. Ability to adapt to various technologies (e.g., charging stations, software for fleet management).
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Work Environment: Work will be performed primarily in a vehicle management facility, with occasional outdoor work for vehicle inspections and maintenance.
