Blender Position
Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading food producer located in St. Peter, MN. We are seeking candidates for Blender roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for this temp opportunity ranges between $17.00-$19.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information! What you will do as a Blender: Accurately weigh and blend raw ingredients per production formulas, recording data for traceability Lift and dump ingredient bags (up to 55 lbs.) into mixers and super sacs Operate mixers, forklifts, and related equipment, assisting with changeovers and basic maintenance Label, stage, organize, and clean containers, blending equipment, and work areas Follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures, including PPE usage Document lot numbers and ingredient usage accurately Communicate deviations, spills, or issues to the Blend Room Lead or Supervisor Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed What you need to be a Blender: High school diploma or GED preferred Prior food manufacturing or ingredient handling experience is a plus Ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift Comfortable working in a production environment with dusty ingredients and routine noise Basic math skills to read scales, compute measurements, and follow formulas Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop for long periods Strong attention to detail, food safety, and cleanliness standards Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Join this dynamic team today!
