Inspector - CMM
We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector - CMM to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing detailed inspections, tests, and audits of purchased parts, assemblies, equipment, and materials to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify issues, maintain documentation, and ensure product compliance from raw materials to finished assemblies. Key responsibilities include: Inspect, test, and audit incoming components, raw materials, and in-process/final assemblies to engineering specifications. Interpret and analyze manufacturing drawings, diagrams, and CAD models to determine conformance. Approve or reject units, test setups, or systems based on quality findings. Rework or coordinate repairs of defective units or systems. Perform sample testing and maintain accurate quality documentation. Report performance data and support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with customer quality representatives or suppliers as needed. Assist in developing methods and procedures for inspection processes. Required qualifications include: High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Associates Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Minimum of 4 years experience using CMM software (Zeiss CALYPSO or equivalent). Proficiency with Keyence measuring equipment. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
