Mechanical Maintenance Millwright
Weyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for Maintenance Mechanical Millwright team members for our Idabel, Oklahoma Lumber facility. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Key functions include: Performing highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks including installation. Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systems. Analyzing the cause of breakdowns with equipment during downtime situations. Determining and carrying out maintenance and repair actions to return equipment to effective operating conditions. Lubricating and cleaning parts, performing maintenance planning, layout work, and welding as required. Following and adhering to safety lockout procedures and plant safety rules, and maintaining excellent housekeeping practices. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Preferred experience includes five years of maintenance work experience and/or educational history. Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, precision measuring and test instruments, experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems, and excellent skills in root cause analysis are required. Resume detailing education and work history, steady and documented work history, eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, good communication skills, team orientation, ability to work independently and in a group, willingness to work any shift including weekends and holidays, and willingness and ability to wear all required personal protective equipment are also necessary.
