Job Title: Composites Quality Inspector
SUMMARY:
The Composites Quality Inspector provides oversight of Karman's daily activities related to Composites Quality Assurance, conducting all QA efforts as required by Karman's Quality Management System and AS9100 standards. Provide quality support and process oversight for composites layup technicians, including inspection of workmanship, material handling, documentation, and workflow. Ensure proper receipt, storage, handling, and tracking of materials. Track manufacturing and inspection documentation, document nonconformances, and support corrective actions. Generate AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues. Support quality and regulatory audits of the Composites Shop. Collaborate with engineering on process definition and new product development. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: High School Diploma required. Hands-on experience in aerospace composite layup is desirable.
