Located just two blocks from Waikiki Beach, many guest rooms feature walk-out patios overlooking the ocean or city. The hotel is adjacent to the International Market Place, a shopping and dining destination with 75 retail shops and outdoor seating at seven signature restaurants. The Room Attendant maintains clean, attractive guestrooms and provides attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping carts. Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Restock housekeeping carts for the next day. Replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items from rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Report maintenance issues immediately. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently. Ability to stand during entire shift. Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
