Essential duties and responsibilities include performing prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighing and measuring designated ingredients; carrying pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards; storing food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures; cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils; distributing supplies, utensils, and portable equipment; utilizing approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control; serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service; resolving customer concerns and relaying relevant information to supervisor; ensuring compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures; assuring compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements; and performing other duties as assigned.
