Substitute Bus Driver
We are always seeking to add to our School Transportation team: Substitute Bus Driver (CDL Driver's License required, Training is available) Substitute Van Drivers (no special license needed, Clean Driver's License) Substitute Transportation Aides (no driving involved) Long-term and per diem (by the day) assignments available Flexible days 4-5 hours per day PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: To be sure all students are secure in their seatbelts/wheelchairs. Aides help the Bus Driver maintain a clean bus for everyone. Maintaining good student conduct on the bus. Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion Other job-related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor Certification/License: All positions - Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education Bus Driver- CDL with School Bus Endorsement Education: GED or Highschool diploma Experience: No experience is required but working with young and special needs students is helpful. Live and Work in the Biddeford, Maine Community Located along the Atlantic coastline with miles of beaches Views of the Saco River to its west Less than 20 minutes south of the Greater Portland Area It is less than two hours north of Boston.
