The Associate Director - Project Management (PM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) - GSC is part of the GSC Excellence and Strategy team (GSC E&S) and is responsible for supporting the GSC group with CI and PM. Results are achieved by partnering with the business to create a CI mindset and framework and leading/supporting the PM of initiatives. Responsibilities

Enhance the foundations to support a repeatable approach to PM and CI initiatives – e.g. CI training, tools, templates etc. Develop a CI Service level offering from tools to templates to fully manage CI. Develop and roll out an integrated GSC E&S framework for PM and CI activities. Establish an integrated GSC E&S monthly business review framework. Establish current state maturity and benchmark to advance the maturity of services. Apply a structured methodology by leveraging a PM and CI methodology. Engage with internal customers to support their efforts in solving complex problems and improving performance. Perform analysis and diagnostics to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to leadership. Design and facilitate workshops and Kaizen events. Coordinate idea generation, project identification, prioritization, and overall selection. Support the design and delivery of CI projects as part of a cross-functional team. Identify and justify project benefits and financial savings. Support teams assigned to implementing the recommendations. Drive achievement for own projects and projects they are supporting. Coordinate the training of all levels of the organization on CI principles and methodologies. Coach and mentor Project Sponsors, Black Belts/Green Belts candidates. Encourage a CI culture by influencing and empowering employees. Facilitate the sharing of best practices and project successes across the organization. Support the change management, communication and training efforts. Create and utilise a best practice PM and CI Framework. Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics. Ensure that PM plans are supported by OCM plans. Track and report issues. Evaluate and ensure user readiness. Measure the impact of change management strategies deployed through key KPI measurement. Experience and Competencies

Relevant experience in related field and a BS or BA; or relevant experience and an MA/MBA. Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable. Supply Chain experience managing end-to-end change. Excellent attention to detail coupled with an ability to understand the 'big picture'. Leads and project manages projects independently. Comfortable presenting recommendations to diverse stakeholders. Solid understanding of current industry trends. Leadership qualities: collaboration, accountability, cross functional engagement and influence. Excellent communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and influence others. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. A Customer Service, Continuous Improvement and Project Management mindset. Qualifications

Project Management and Lean Six Sigma qualifications e.g. PMI/PRINCE 2/Green or Black belt. Bachelor’s degree in Business/CM/Engineering discipline is required. Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications in supply chain management a plus. Change management qualification e.g. PROSCI or other recognised CM qualification a plus.
