Lead Customer Service Consultant

Position Summary The Lead Customer Service Consultant is an expert in the full range of services offered at FedEx Office, including printing, signs & graphics, and shipping. Your primary focus will be to ensure a stellar customer experience by managing orders, coordinating store operations, and providing in-depth product knowledge. You will also produce complex orders, operate advanced equipment, and oversee production processes. General Duties and Responsibilities (This is a representative list of tasks you may be asked to perform, and it is not intended to be comprehensive) Deliver friendly, expert service to all customers by demonstrating consultative behaviors. Manage production flow, ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time. Assist customers in placing orders, providing pricing information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services. Take responsibility for digital imaging and oversee both black and white and color production services. Set up and manage complex orders while multitasking effectively. Maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process. Facilitate seamless communication among team shifts. Coordinate the collection and delivery of customer orders. Provide mentorship and leadership to team members during assigned shifts. Assist in training new store staff. Organize and manage customer orders effectively. Operate the Point of Sale terminal (POS), handle financial transactions, and ensure accuracy in cash handling. Complete all financial paperwork and support reporting processes, including sales and deposit reconciliations. Follow all standard operating procedures and comply with legal, HR, safety, and security policies. Provide exceptional customer service for shipping-related inquiries, recommend appropriate shipping methods, and manage shipping supplies. Prepare packages for shipping accurately. Perform any additional duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of relevant experience. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Essential Functions Ability to stand for an entire shift, excluding breaks. Capability to move and lift up to 55 pounds. Regularly bend and twist as needed in a fast-paced environment. Consistent communication with customers and team members. Ability to collaborate and follow instructions effectively. Support FedEx Office business hours with regular attendance.
