SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver Opportunity
Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Lansing, MI. Join us and enjoy a weekly pay of $948.00 or more. Driver positions pay weekly with an hourly rate of $22.71 per hour, shift pay of $1.00 per hour, and 40-50 hours per week. The schedule includes Sunday to Thursday, with some Fridays. The start time is 10:00 PM. Paid training is available. Deliver SOLO within a 15-mile radius with a local home daily route. You will operate a straight truck with a 26' trailer, transporting a mix of touch and no touch auto parts trucks. All trucks are 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. Benefits include a cell phone and boot allowance, paid personal time off starting at 80 hours in the first year, and medical, dental, and vision coverage starting at 30 days. Minimum 21 years of age, pass a Ryder drug test, pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, pass a DOT physical, pass a Ryder road test, provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position, and have verifiable Class A or Class B experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle. Experience requirements include 9 months within the past 3 years, 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures. Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs. Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer. Perform other duties as assigned.
