SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver Opportunity

Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Lansing, MI. Join us and enjoy a weekly pay of $948.00 or more. Driver positions pay weekly with an hourly rate of $22.71 per hour, shift pay of $1.00 per hour, and 40-50 hours per week. The schedule includes Sunday to Thursday, with some Fridays. The start time is 10:00 PM. Paid training is available. Deliver SOLO within a 15-mile radius with a local home daily route. You will operate a straight truck with a 26' trailer, transporting a mix of touch and no touch auto parts trucks. All trucks are 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. Minimum 21 years of age, pass a Ryder drug test, pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, pass a DOT physical, pass a Ryder road test, provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position, and have verifiable Class A or Class B experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle. Experience requirements include 9 months within the past 3 years, 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs. Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer. Perform other duties as assigned.
