As a Part Time Grand Caf Server at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, it will be your responsibility to tailor the Caf experience to each guest providing food and beverage services in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in a superior level of guest satisfaction. Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. Greet guests and explain specials & promotions. Understand the menu and wine list, including ingredients and preparation. Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system. Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations. Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction. Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return. Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments. Maintain self-banking procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager. What Do You Bring To The Role?
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum two years of service experience in fine dining. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and etiquette. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Service-oriented with the ability to take direction. Strong communication skills and familiarity with hospitality. Ability to build effective relationships with management, staff, and the public. Transport trays up to 30 lbs. through crowded spaces.
